The cult of celebrity in the USA is in full assault.  True beauty needs no advertisement, noisy display or adulation. True beauty abounds.  It simply takes wisdom to see it.  Notice creation.  Notice faces. Notice the very young and the very old.  The very young and very old are often the most spontaneous and unguarded.  True beauty is a gracious marriage between authenticity and spontaneity. We cultivate true beauty by being of service to others. Cultivating a character that offers unconditional loving-kindness towards all is a work of beauty.  One way to cultivate true beauty is to watch those who radiate peace, patience and kindness.  Then, in your unique way, cultivate this spirit.  The still small voice within us – the Great Spirit that’s available to all – will guide those who get quiet, listen and follow the voice of Wisdom. Learn to serve others. Be beautiful.

The sage works quietly,

seeking neither praise nor fame;

completing what he does with natural ease,

and then retiring.

This is the way and nature of Tao.

Chapter 9 – Tao Te Ching

For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.

Isaiah 30:15
