Nature & Spirit

Meditation: Nature & Spirit

Honor the Earth. Joy.

Listening to Creation.

Trees. Leaves. Birds. Babies.

anthony glenn miller

On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.

Mystical Chantry

Meditation: Mystical Chantry

Know beyond the veil.

Secret place of the Most High.

Sacred space within the soul.

anthony glenn miller

Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God
The One who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “She is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Her I will trust.”

Psalm 91:1-2

Meditation: Silence

Beyond words and stuff.

Into great silence. Wholeness.

Ineffable joy.

anthony glenn miller

Everything Has Its Time
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to throw away;
a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Meditation: Renaissance

Rebirth of spirit.

Movements towards lasting wholeness.

Inner renewal.

anthony glenn miller

Speak evil of no one, avoid quarreling, be gentle, and to show every courtesy to everyone. For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, despicable, hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy, through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

Titus 3:2-5

Meditation: Pavane

A slow true movement.

A dance of the universe.

One love. One true verse.

anthony glenn miller

You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.

James 1:19

Meditation: Sicilienne

A sense of beauty.

A sense of one space and place.

Life. Death. A Return.

anthony glenn miller

All streams run to the sea, but the sea is not full; to the place where the streams flow, there they continue to flow.

Ecclesiastes 1:7

Meditation: Alienation

Return to the true.

Alone but never lonely.

Bread. Give us this day.

anthony glenn miller

For God alone my soul waits in silence;
from him comes my salvation.
He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall never be shaken.

Psalm 62:1-2

Enlightened Alienation

Meditation: Enlightened Alienation

Cults of Distraction.

Unplug from the Beast of Death.

Embrace the True Light.

anthony glenn miller

After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”

When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.

As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”

The disciples asked him, “Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?”

Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.” Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.

Matthew 17:1-13

Focusing the mind.

Opening the heart and soul.

Rebirth day by day.

anthony glenn miller

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

Psalm 19:14

Radical Freedom

Meditation: Radical Freedom

Alive with pleasure.

An ad for smoking. Really.

Recover your mind.

anthony glenn miller

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Romans 12:2
