Ineffability II

Meditation: Ineffability II

What lives beyond our wordy world?

Enter a respect for the holy and ineffable.

Abide. Remain. One.

anthony glenn miller

Thus saith the Lord,,,

… listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom.

Job 33:33

Meditation: Becoming

This is the 5th consecutive day of Jesus Eternal Tao  highlighting the work of Richard Rose. In Richard Rose we have a mystic that lived at ground level and spoke in a way that everyday people – who truly seek and are open to the Truth – can access practical spiritual experience that fits their particular gifts and being. This is a repeat of material shared earlier on Jesus Eternal Tao, because I find Richard Rose as one who’s worthy of returning to for insight and wisdom in the quest to be and know Truth. Listen. Learn. Let Go.

Enter the in between space where you know and are known by the Eternal Source. Becoming. Being. Be still and know.

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

Philippians 3:10

Tao Te Ching

Meditation: Tao Te Ching

What is essential? What is worthy of our attention.

Be still. Know. Be.

anthony glenn miller

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

Psalm 46:10

Beyond Mind

Meditation: Beyond Mind

The infinite mystery. Still.

The mystery revealed. Small.

The voiceless voice. Whispers.

anthony glenn miller

Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?

Zechariah 4:10

Meditation: Calm

Poised. Centered. One.

anthony glenn miller

They went to him and woke him up, shouting, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And he woke up and rebuked the wind and the raging waves; they ceased, and there was a calm.

Luke 8:24

Meditation: Love

LOVE, an overused word. How many understand the true depth and meaning of LOVE? Can we learn the meaning of love without being tried by the fires of tribulation, betrayal, and the need to forgive ourselves and others repeatedly? A rhetorical question, to be sure. Love is. Be Love.

Which Is the First Commandment of All?

But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Matthew 22:34-40

Meditation: Heartfulness

Movement of mercy.

The Great Spirit connection.

One Love. One Body.

anthony glenn miller

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poorand give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

I Corinthians 13:1-13

Meditation: Love

Eternal Love heals.

Eternal Love shows the WAY.

Eternal Love now.

Love for Enemies

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers and sisters, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Matthew 5:43-48

Meditation: Maitri

Love yourself. Love all.

Know the many. Love the ONE.

The many are ONE.

anthony glenn miller

The Greatest Commandment

When the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together, and one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Matthew 22:34-40

Mind of Christ

Meditation: Mind of Christ

Since Alan Watts offered this reflection in 1970, the systems of abuse that threaten the Earth have only gotten worst. Systems of abuse come from minds and hearts of individuals that think and act in unproductive ways. Minds and Hearts  that don’t honor the Earth – and its inhabitants – are a threat to all Life.  Sacred Scripture calls us to put on the Mind of Christ. The MIND OF CHRIST is a call to LOVE ALL LIFE. It takes a lot of listening to hear what this means for our daily journey.

The discipline of servant work, that honors all life, leads to transformed hearts and minds. Listen to the still small voice within. Listen. Learn. Love.

Nature & Mind of the Spirit

But ask the animals, and they will teach you;
    the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you;
and the fish of the sea will declare to you.
Who among all these does not know
that the hand of the Lord has done this?
In his hand is the life of every living thing
and the breath of every human being.
Does not the ear test words
    as the palate tastes food?
Is wisdom with the aged,
and understanding in length of days?

Job 12: 7-12
