Body & Spirit

Meditation: Body and Spirit

A spirituality that honors the body, the mind, and the spirit.

Learn to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit.

At one with Nature. At one with Self. At one with the Great Spirit.

anthony glenn miller

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own?

I Corinthians 6:19

Inner Silence

Meditation: Inner Silence

A return to silence.

A return to love.

A return, in each moment of the day, to the Great Spirit.

anthony glenn miller

If only you would be altogether silent! For you, that would be wisdom.

Job 13:5

Madame Guyon I

We live in the midst of a spiritual industry. Selling stillness. Wordy books on silence. Monetizing meditation. Nevertheless, true mystics remain among us. A mystic is one who has a direct encounter with the Eternal Light, with God, with Source, or whatever name you choose to refer to the Divine. I like the term Tao because it points towards that which cannot be named.

Madame Guyon suffered greatly in her life for her simple belief that one can have perpetual communion with the Divine through Christ. Or as Jesus put it, I and the Father are one (John 10:30). Jesus also prayed that his disciples would experience oneness with the Father (John 17:22) as he did. So why would the institutional church – in this case the Roman Catholics hierarchy – condemn such an example of faith? If the average person understood that they need no mediator – other than Jesus Christ – to have a direct experience of God, what does this do to the church hierarchy (i.e., bishops, priests, deacons, spiritual directors, etc.)? The Great Spirit sets us free to experience the Kingdom of God that is within us (Luke 17:21).

Madame Guyon is in the lineage of many other saints and sages who call us to live from the Spirit. The Great Spirit that roots us in love, joy, and peace. Will your life be a witness to the beauty of the Eternal Light working through you? Be Love. Be Light. Be a blessing to all.

anthony glenn miller

Jesus stated:

I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.

John 17:11

Little Boxes I

Meditation: Little Boxes

Transcending the little boxes of the world, the institutional church, and organizations that put the Great Spirit out of business. Hear the teaching of the Tao, the Eternal Christ, the WAY. The Great Spirit cannot be contained in little boxes. The Great Spirit blows where it will.

Flow in the power of the Great Spirit. Bring Life and Light to those who still dwell in little boxes.

anthony glenn miller

When the Spirit of Truth, comes, She will guide you into all the truth. She will not speak on his own; She will speak only what She hears, and She will tell you what is yet to come.

John 16:13

Quiet VIII

Meditation: Quiet

Quiet and isms.

Quiet as contemplation.

Quiet and the WAY.

anthony glenn miller

The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools.

Ecclesiastes 9:17

Quiet VII

Meditation: Quiet

The vast unity.

All seen in a grain of sand.

Wordless touching Tao.

anthony glenn miller

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.

Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

I Peter 3:4

Quiet VI

Meditation: Quiet

Labels transcended.

No more sects, doctrines, or stuff.

Hearts open to Tao.

anthony glenn miller

From heaven you pronounced judgment, and the land feared and was quiet.

Psalm 76:8

Stillness II

Meditation: Stillness

Nothing to gather, only to be.

Nothing to grasp, only to remain.

Nothing to receive, only to abide.

anthony glenn miller

Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him,

If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

John 8:31-32

I Am Silence

Meditation: I Am Silence

Wandering no more.

Now, alone with the ALL ONE.

Silent in the midst.

anthony glenn miller

Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.

Psalm 4:4

Meditation: Courage

Some days are smooth and easy. Other days seem to demand all our inner resources. It takes courage to live life well. Living with true courage means working from the heart.

The word courage has its roots in the Latin word cormeaning heart.  Other words with this root are: core (meaning from the center or from the heart), cordial (meaning to act with warmth or from the heart), and encourage (meaning to give heartily or to make hopeful).

Anchor your heart in a the Infinite Way, the Eternal One. As we live from the heart, moving forward with courage, we bless our environment with Light and Love.

May you be blessed with courage this day. Enjoy each moment with authenticity. Take courage. Live from the heart.

anthony glenn miller

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:6
