In a culture that is fast-paced and business-centered, how do you maintain inner stillness? How do you remain focused on matters of the heart?
Poise is power. Inner stillness and outer poise allow us to experience life mindfully and joyfully. Mindfulness isn’t simply about being attentive to our own well being, but calls us to serve others with loving attentiveness. Listening well. Loving richly. Knowing deeply.
Be still and know the beauty of life. Be still and know the Eternal Source. Be still and know the beauty of serving others and all creation. Be still and know.

The Eternal Spirit calls:
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
The Lordis my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul…
As one writer put it, Hurry is not of the devil; it is the devil (Carl Jung). Embrace the power of inner stillness. Daily ask, seek, and follow the voice of the Great Spirit. Jesus has not left us comfortless. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, remains as a witness to the ongoing work of the Eternal Love and Light that is found in the Christ. Abide in the Eternal Spirit.
Know Inner Stillness. Walk in Beauty.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side.” And leaving the crowd behind, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. Other boats were with him. A great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that the boat was already being swamped. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke him up and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” He woke up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace! Be still! Then the wind ceased, and there was a dead calm. He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Have you still no faith?” And they were filled with great awe and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
When pursuing knowledge, something new is acquired each day. But when pursuing the way of the Tao, something is subtracted; less striving occurs, until there is no striving. When effort is un-contrived, nothing is left undone; the way of nature rules by allowing things to take their course, not by contriving to change.
Chapter 48 – Tao Te Ching
For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror;
then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part;
then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
