Endings and Beginnings.  Meditation is a beautiful way to begin each day.  How we begin each day can greatly influence how our day proceeds and ends.  We cannot control what challenges will confront us.  We can control our response.  Even in the face of fear, aggression, indifference or dislocation we can choose to remain centered and balanced.  Balance is found through a return to loving-kindness.  In every moment, what is the most loving response we can offer?  Codes of conduct are important.  We must also know when to break the rules  to more fully follow the Great Spirit.  As you end.  As you begin.  Choose Love.

Humankind has not woven the web of life.

We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.

All things are bound together.  All things connect.

[Jesus] I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

John 13:34-35
