When was the last time you had a truly engaging conversation?
Can you remember a conversation where you listened well and didn’t race to get on stage with your ideas? Can you remember a conversation where you were truly heard? Instead of waiting to be heard – which I find rare – I offer the gift of listening well. Remember, not every voice nor everything is worthy of our attention. Everyone is worthy of our respect. Sometimes we must respectfully ignore certain voices. To truly listen well, includes listening to Nature and the still small voice within.
Listen. Learn. Love.

The older I grow, the more I listen to people who don’t talk much.”

Elijah Meets God at Horeb
“Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Now there was a great wind, so strong that it was splitting mountains and breaking rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a sound of sheer silence.
